
Principal Investigator: 姜晋越 JIANG Jinyue (Jerry)
Dr. JIANG Jinyue (Jerry) is an incoming Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Prior to joining PolyU, Jerry obtained his Ph.D. in 2025 working with Z. Jason Ren at Princeton University, and finished his Postdoc Fellowship working with Paul Westerhoff at Arizona State University.
His research interest include generative AI in environmetal – particularly water – application, geospatial and thermodynamic modeling of electrified water processes, and sustainable AI development. He is the receipient of several awards, including Princeton Maeder Fellowship, ACS Environmental Chemistry Graduate Award and Tsinghua University Siyuan Fellowship.
In free time, Jerry enjoys exploring the nature, rock climbing, swimming and singing. He also served as the President and Principal Saxophonist of Tsignhua University Symphonic Band (THUMB). He has two chinchillas, Mipha and Toki.
